-Tube cutter
-Rachet
System analyzer
For those beginers who have not heard about this instrument i must discuss the use and importance of the system analyzer. This instrument is used to analyze problems arising from the mechanical part of the refrigerant.Basic parts are: compound gauge, knobs and ports.
Compound gauge is used to measure the exact amount of refrigerant needed in the tube system. Its gauge measure 1-250 psi.And the other part if the system is negative reading which is used for vacuuming -1 to -30 Hg inch VAC.
On the other side of the manifold is the pressure gauge. It measures the high side pressure . Its range is from 1-500 psi.Well, graduation of its scale may vary according to manufactures. It does not matter what is more important is the high side or low side pressure.
To be more concrete, let us apply in vacuuming the compound gauge (CG).
1. Couple the CG hose with depressor on the ssv of the compressor
2.The mid- port goes to vacuuming.
3.Connect the pg to dsv ( discharge
service valve) of the compressor.
4.Then start the vacuuming pump observe the gauges.
5.Note if vacuming is good CG register - 29 or -30 HG inch vacuum after 25 minutes of an hour of running.
6.if it does not read- 29 to -30 "Vac after 45 minutes this means leak is present in the joints. On the other hand,if register - 29 or - 30 inch vac for 3 minutes or lesser , this means the system is clog.
7.Triple vacuuming process must be observed to be sure that air and other impurities are taken out. Then refrigerant charging follows.
